My Living Room*
I’m a Learning & Development professional who believes success comes from being resourceful, switching between academic journals and Dan Brown novels without shame, and trusting that no one has it all figured out — and that’s okay.

corporate L&D isn’t just what you see in LinkedIn training recaps.
If you’ve worked in corporate Learning & Development, you already know the reality:
You’re expected to build solutions with limited time, tight budgets, and incomplete information.
You’re supporting everyone else’s growth while trying to figure out your own.
You’re juggling last-minute training requests while wondering if your own development is falling behind.
And when you’re transitioning into L&D or starting a new role? It’s even more overwhelming.
I’ve been there.
That’s why I created this space—to share real-world strategies, practical advice, and honest guidance for L&D professionals who want to grow their careers and make real impact.
Because you shouldn’t have to figure it all out on your own.
Whether you’re preparing for an interview, building your first onboarding program, or growing into your next role, I’m here to help you take your next step with clarity and confidence.

How I got here

Pre-L&D Era
If I were still in my pre-L&D era, I’d gladly plan a vacation you’d never forget.
Because that’s actually where it all started — I went to college to become a travel agent.
Originally from Ukraine, before settling in Dubai, I’ve had the chance to live and work in Türkiye. That time in hospitality gave me a front-row seat to how people learn on the job — and how much support really matters when they don’t get it.
I tried a bit of everything: hotel operations, events, sales… all the moving parts that keep businesses running.
When all changed
But in 2017, everything shifted. I attended a customer experince training at work, and soon after, was asked to facilitate the same session across the company.
No training background. No facilitation experience. And to be completely honest - I also had a speech defect and a fear of public speaking. I used to stammer, and the idea of standing in front of a room full of people was terrifying.
But I said yes anyway.
Was it challenging? Absolutely. But it sparked something I couldn’t ignore. After learning that I could actually get paid to help individuals and companies grow by developing the skills of their people? Sign me up, please.
Eight months later, I stepped into my first role in Learning & Development — no specialized degree, no perfect roadmap, just a lot of trial, error, and curiosity.

The Journey (So Far)
Fast forward to today: I work full-time in corporate L&D by day, and outside of working hours, I support professionals like you through interview prep, career transitions, and practical, real-world L&D guidance.
Since that first training session, I’ve earned my SHRM-CP certification, completed a business degree, facilitated dozens of workshops, learned from a few failed projects, and am now pursuing a Master’s in Organizational & Business Psychology.
I’ve helped L&D professionals:
✔ Land roles they didn’t think were possible
✔ Walk into interviews with clarity and confidence
✔ Design stronger, more effective L&D experiences
✔ Go from “What am I doing?” to “I’ve got this”
✔ Get promoted (and actually feel ready for it)
Beyond the Resume
• A recovering perfectionist and people pleaser
• Getting 10,000 steps in the park while listening to a psychology book one day and a mystery novel the next — that’s my kind of balance
• ISFJ personality type and Generator in Human Design
• Painting by numbers with two cats by my side, a glass of wine on table, and Harry Potter playing on Audible (for the 17th time) = peak joy
• I start planning vacations three months in advance — spontaneous trips without an itinerary? Not happening
• Savory breakfast is my love language — just don’t offer me pancakes or anything sweet before noon. And yes, I’ll take an iced matcha with that — I am a Dubai girl, after all
• Balancing a full-time L&D role, a Master’s degree, and a side project (because “I like staying busy” is kind of an understatement)
